Zeena uses her first name only for her artistic and spiritual pursuits. Her legal, secular name is Zeena Schreck. She has not used her birth name "LaVey" since 1990, when she resigned as High Priestess from the Church of Satan, renouncing all forms of Satanism and severing ties with the LaVey family. 

In 2015, Zeena and Nikolas Schreck divorced. She chose to retain her married name, until further notice, due to heavy negative karma associated with the name "LaVey." She doesn't respond to anyone who calls her "LaVey", "LaVey-Schreck", or any variants of the name, nor to anyone who continues to link her to the organization, people and beliefs associated with that name.
